The FX-III was the last of the 750FX line in the page's account, using the same 738 cc, 74 hp engine and Kayaba-damped chassis as the earlier FX models. The road test described its seat as firm, its styling as plain, and the bike as best suited to fast, efficient riding rather than outright speed. The page describes it as a lighter superbike derived from the KZ650.
